Dr. Adam Bauermeister is a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery) whose work centers on restoring balance, contour, and confidence through meticulous, individualized care. He specializes in cosmetic procedures of the face, breast, and body, offering a curated range of surgical and non-surgical treatments anchored in natural, elegant outcomes.
Dr. Bauermeister believes that aesthetic medicine is most powerful when it honors the individual—your proportions, your goals, and your sense of self. Each treatment plan is shaped collaboratively, grounded in education and transparency, and tailored to your unique anatomy. Whether surgery or a non-surgical approach is most appropriate, the intention remains consistent: results that feel refined, effortless, and authentically you.
He understands that the decision to seek aesthetic care is both personal and emotional. His philosophy is not to change who you are, but to refine and elevate the features that make you feel like your best self. The experience is designed to feel calm, informed, and supportive at every step.
Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Bauermeister completed his Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology, chemistry, and psychology, followed by his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Illinois. He went on to train in general surgery at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, earning board certification from the American Board of Surgery, and later completed an additional residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Tennessee, after which he obtained board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Throughout his training, he remained deeply engaged in teaching and research, presenting nationally and publishing in peer-reviewed journals and surgical texts. His work has been recognized through multiple regional and national awards—not only for academic achievement, but also for artistic excellence, a discipline that continues to inform his aesthetic eye.
His background in complex reconstructive trauma and oncologic surgery has shaped a philosophy rooted equally in restoration and refinement. He approaches each patient with the understanding that he is treating more than form—he is tending to confidence, identity, and well-being.
Now proud to call South Florida home, Dr. Bauermeister brings this thoughtful, modern approach to a practice designed around quiet luxury and individualized attention. Outside the operating room, he enjoys time with family, international travel, fitness, hiking, architectural design, and the arts.
